  • The Tulsa Jam'Bassadors Youth Jazz Program is an exciting ensemble comprised of local Tulsa area high school musicians. Through professional rehearsals, master classes, and national competition, the Jam'Bassadors work to develop as highly skilled and experienced musicians. The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame's goal for the Tulsa Jam'Bassadors is to enrich and broaden jazz education in the Tulsa area school districts. The Jam'Bassadors audition for competitions on a local and national level includding the SWOSU Jazz Festival, the Charles Mingus Festival in NYC, the Monterey Next Generations Jaz Festival, and the Essentially Ellington Competition. Membership will be open by audition to any student currently in grades 9-12 without regard to race, religion, gender, or disability.


    In consideration of my child's participation and continued membership in the Tulsa Jam'Bassadors, I hereby give the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame the exclusive, absolute, and irrevocable right and permission to record, distribute, photograph, film, videotape, and/or portray any musical performance in which my child appears, performs, or otherwise participates in as a member of the Tulsa Jam'Bassadors. I understand and agree that such interests may include, but are not limited to, promotional, solicitation, and fundraising purposes. I understand and permit the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame to use photographs of my child in publicity and fundraising materials, videotaped performances for possible public distrubution, recorded performance segments for internet use, and recordings of any performance on CDs or DVDs for public distribution. I further agree and understand the above states uses will not be in exchange for monetary or other compensation.
