The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame welcomes the band Rio to the Jazz Depot stage in a Beatles tribute concert event.

This Tulsa fold-rock group originated as a five-piece band formed in the mid eighties, and has always favored Beatles’ tunes. After a club owner suggested Rio play an entire evening of Beatles hits, Rio accepted the challenge. The first half of the evening is acoustic, with the show concluding with electric rock and roll.

Rio features Rick Palazzo on electric and acoustic twelve string guitars, as well as harmonica and vocals, Doug McDuffie on electric bass and vocals, Mike McLane on electric and acoustic lead guitar and vocals, and drummer and percussionist Scott Mariner. To enjoy the jazz, call (918) 928-JAZZ or visit www.JazzHallTickets.com.  General Admission tickets are only $10.00.

The event is a part of the Jazz Hall’s 2017 Autumn Concert Series.

The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame is a non-profit cultural and educational organization, with a mission to inspire creativity and improve the quality of life for all Oklahomans through the preservation, education, and performance of jazz, our uniquely American art form.
